Elemental Skeletons Mod
This mod will make all Skeletons hold a sword instead of bow. But that isn’t all. That would be boring just like that, wouldn’t it? Yes, Skeletons now hold the Ancient Blade, and when you kill them, they can drop their sword! Then, you can go to the furnace and smelt it to craft a new Bow, a new Tool Set, or a New Sword! It even adds a couple of new Skeletons with different effects!

Hey, doesn’t he look familiar?
Yes, this is the Vanilla Minecraft Skeleton, but modified. He no longer holds a bow, but an Ancient Blade! The Skeleton will drop 1-2 Bones and 1-2 Ancient Arrows (Used for the Ancient Bow, See below)
Stats:
- Health: Default (20) (A.K.A, 10 Hearts)
- Damage Inflicted on Player: 2-3 (A.K.A, 1 – 1.5 Hearts)
- Can drop his Ancient Blade
Fire Skeleton
Welcome to your doom. This Skeleton can be really hard to kill. When touched you will be set on Fire and you will receive the Wither Potion effect for about 4 seconds. He is also immune to fire.
Stats:
- Health: Default (20) (A.K.A, 10 Hearts)
- Damage Inflicted on Player Per Hit (not including potion effects or fire damage): 2-3 (A.K.A, 1 – 1.5 Hearts)
- Drops: 0-2 Blaze Rods
Water Skeleton
This is more of a Skeleton that gives you bad and good potion effects on contact; Water Breathing and Wither!
Stats:
- Health: Default (20) (A.K.A, 10 Hearts)
- Damage Inflicted on Player Per Hit (not including potion effects): 2-3 (A.K.A, 1 – 1.5 Hearts)
- Drops: 0-2 Water Bottles
Shadow Skeleton
This Skeleton just loves Sneaking. He can’t get enough of it! Like you can see in the picture, he’s pretty much invisible, except for his Shadow! He will inflict Wither and Slowness for about 5 seconds.
Stats:
- Health: 10 (A.K.A, 5 Hearts)
- Damage Inflicted on Player Per Hit (not including potion effects): 2-3 (A.K.A, 1 – 1.5 Hearts)
- Drops: 0-2 Ancient Dust
Jungle Skeleton
Well, Spawning a Skeleton in the Jungle didn’t turn out to be a good idea…. Great. Now a Skeleton that gives you poison and wither!
Stats:
- Health: Default (20) (A.K.A, 5 Hearts)
- Damage Inflicted on Player Per Hit (not including potion effects): 2-3 (A.K.A, 1 – 1.5 Hearts)
- Drops: 0-2 Vines
CRAZY Skeleton
Think this is an easy mob? Think again. With a CRAZY Speed of 80F, this Skeleton with give you the following potion effects for about 7 seconds PER hit: Slowness, Mining Fatigue, Poison, Nausea, Wither and Blindness.
Stats:
- Health: 50 (A.K.A, 25 Hearts)
- Damage Inflicted on Player Per Hit (not including potion effects): 2-3 (A.K.A, 1 – 1.5 Hearts)
- Drops: 0-2 Emeralds

- Ancient Blade = Ancient Dust
- Ancient Dust = Ancient Ingot
- Death Blade = Diamond
- [Random Item] = Ancient Bow

Installation:
- Download and install Minecraft Forge
- Download Elemental Skeletons Mod
- Put Elemental Skeletons Mod zip file into your /.minecraft/mods folder. Do not unzip it.
