In MInecraft, you can use a hoe to till a block of dirt and convert it into farmland. You can then plant seeds on this farmland to grow crops and vegetables. But one of the basic requirements of growing a crop is water. The farmland block by itself comes in two states – dry and hydrated. Only a hydrated farmland block can grow crops. To hydrate a farmland block, you have to place a water source adjacent to the block. A capillary action will also hydrate 3-4 blocks of farmland blocks, as long as they are on the same Y level. But this often leaves us with holes for water in larger areas of farmland, which causes a discontinuity in the crops being planted. Aquifer Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1)  is here with a solution. This mod makes it so that farmland will be hydrated if there is water in the block space below the farmland. The images below show how a large area of farmland can be hydrated without the need for a gap amongst the crops for water.

Features:

  • Makes farmland hydrated if there is water below it.
  • Grow large continuous areas of crops without a gap for a water source.
