In the newer versions of the game, bamboo can be crafted into building blocks. Better Bamboo Wood Mod (1.21.4, 1.20.6) further improves upon this feature to make bamboo wood more consistent with the other wood types in the game. A list of features as noted by the developer are given below.

Features:

  • Bamboo logs can be smelted into charcoal.
  • 1 bamboo log can be crafted into 4 planks (instead of 2).
  • 2 bamboo planks can be crafted into 2 sticks.
  • 4 bamboo can be crafted into a single plank.
