Better Tombstones Addon (1.21) is a unique tomb addon that enhances the player’s death experience. When a player dies, a tomb materializes at their death location, securely storing all their inventory and equipment. The tomb bears the player’s name and has a limited lifespan, vanishing along with its contents after a certain time. Upon respawn, players receive a special tomb key, which dynamically updates with information about their tombs—such as distance and remaining time. Additionally, the addon generates particle effects to guide players from their current location to their tomb, simplifying the search process. Only the tomb’s owner can interact with other players to prevent tomb looting; any other attempts trigger a notification that the tomb doesn’t belong to them.

  • Automatic Inventory Transfer: When a player interacts with their tomb, the contents are transferred back to their inventory, and any excess items are dropped on the ground.
