BiomeInfo Mod (1.21.4, 1.20.1) introduces a simple and straightforward indicator on the top left of the screen that displays players’ current biome location. While the idea seems quite basic, players would grow to appreciate the idea of knowing where they currently are residing in the vast world as not all players can easily tell the disparity between locations, as well as the differences. At the same time, being aware of Biomes Information would greatly facilitate players’ process of speedrunning the game since each biome has its own special interactions within the journey. Moreover, the little text indicating where players are currently is kept to be as readable as possible while maintaining a small size, thus keeping the HUD clean and comprehensible. Every time players enter a new biome, there will be a small 1.5 seconds gap that allows the text to be changed to the correct biome’s name.

Features:

  • Shows a simple text containing the name of the current biome.
  • The biome information appears for 1.5 seconds after entering a new biome, but this duration can be customized.
  • Allows players to customize the position, color, and duration of the biome info text.
  • Works with any other biome mod, such as Biomes o’ Plenty.
  • Only functions on the client side and will not work if installed on a server.
  • If the debug screen (F3) is open, the biome info will not be rendered (configurable).
