Birds Nests Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) is a mod that, while it doesn’t add birds to the game, does add their nests. These bird nests can be found in the same way as apples, by breaking tree leaves. There is a certain chance that when breaking tree leaves, in addition to apples and saplings, you will find bird nests. These nests behave as items, meaning you need to collect them, place them in your character’s hand, and right-click. This will open the nest, allowing you to see what’s inside. In the image below, you can see an example of the rewards you can get by collecting bird nests.

Features:

  • When chopping tree leaves, there’s a chance to find bird nests. These nests contain random loot such as eggs, feathers, shiny items, and things birds might eat.
  • The mod introduces pseudo-random reward events, making each tree-chopping experience unique.
  • The drops from the nests are configurable, allowing players to customize the loot table.

How it works?

  • How it works is every so often, a nest will drop from leaves.
  • Right click the nest to get what’s inside.
  • Nests will drop the kinds of things you might expect to find, eggs, feathers, shiny things birds find on the ground, things they eat.
  • The possible drops are below from the most to least common and stack sizes show the maximum number of that item possible from a nest. (so if it is 3, the game does three random chances for that item)
