Blocks in Vanilla Minecraft and those introduced by add-ons can exist in various forms, known as block permutations, which are determined by their states. Having the ability to customize these permutations would be quite beneficial, wouldn’t it? Introducing the “Block Permutation Controller” item, Block Permutation Controller Addon (1.21) empowers you to adjust the states of any block you interact with!

You can find this item in the creative inventory, in the Items section :

When you interact with a block that has block states. This will open an UI where you can configure the states of the block, and so define its permutation.

You can also use this add-on with add-ons which contains custom blocks with states and traits. Here is one of the author’s addon which adds new blocks to Minecraft :

So, when you interact with the blocks of this addon, you can change its permutation like with vanilla blocks! This is an example of the Fake Frog Block:
