1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make a bone block, place 9 bone meal in the 3×3 crafting grid.
When making bone block, it is important that the bone meal is placed in the exact pattern as the image below. There should be 3 bone meal in the first row, 3 bone meal in the second row and 3 bone meal in the third row. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a bone block.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the bone block will appear in the box to the right.
