Boxes Break Backs Mod (1.21.1, 1.21) allows you to wear shulkers and elytras using the accessory slot provided by the Accessories mod. This solves two problems at once. First, wearing a shulker box will save one inventory slot, allowing you to carry more items at once. Also, you can use a keybind to open the shulkerbox on your back. Second, you will be able to wear an elytra and a chestplate simultaneously. This second feature is a game changer, considering that the player has to compromise either the superior protection provided by a chestplate or the ability to fly one for the other.
