Chosen Enchantments Data Pack (1.16.5, 1.13.2)

The Chosen Enchantments Data Pack (1.16.5, 1.13.2) provides a new way to make enchanted books of the enchantment you choose.

To create an enchanted book:

• Rename a Book (using an anvil) to have the same name as the enchantment you want (e.g. Respiration, Sharpness, Mending, etc.).
• Throw this renamed Book onto an Enchanting Table.
• Thrown a piece of Lapis Lazuli onto the Enchanting Table.
• If you’ve named the Book correctly, particles will display & a sound will play, the Lapis will be consumed.
• The Book will be converted into an Enchanted Book containing the same Enchantment for which the Book was named.

This data pack is case sensitive when it comes to detecting names, so make sure what you’ve written is exactly the same as the Enchantment names listed on the wiki. Also note that, as of publishing, this data pack only supports the English names for the Enchantments.
