Are you scared of all the fancy custom SkyBlock resource packs that add flashy animations at the cost of your frames? Do you still want a little more variety in SkyBlock items but don’t want anything too crazy? Compliment Resource Pack (1.8.9) adds textures using Optifine CIT feature, replaces existing items in SkyBlock with these new item textures. It also makes some minor improvements to the ways the player holds certain items like Drills and Staffs. Certain wearable skulls have had their “background” Steve skull removed as well, this feature requires NEU’s Custom Skull feature to be enabled.

Here are all of the items currently of the pack. Some examples here include End Portal Fumes being displayed as Dragon’s Breath, the Recipe Book in the SkyBlock Menu being displayed as a Knowledge Book, and some direct head replacements like the Deep Sea Orb being replaced with the Heart of the Sea (the head texture of this item by default is just a head version of the Heart of the Sea).
