Convenient Decor Mod (1.20.2, 1.19.2) – Lightning-Attracting Umbrellas

Convenient Decor Mod (1.20.2, 1.19.2) adds new decorative blocks, some of which also serve a convenient function.

Features:

• 16 stylish lightning-attracting Umbrellas.
• Watering Can to keep your farmland permanently hydrated.
• Piles of Leaves and Hay that monsters can’t walk through.
• Weather Vanes that predict when the weather will change.
• Decorative Shovels and Pitchforks.

Watering Can

• Can be filled with water, holds up to 32 uses. Use it on farmland to make it permanently hydrated, so it doesn’t need a water source nearby.
• If enchanted with Infinity, you don’t have to worry about refilling it.

Hay Stack, Leaf Piles

• Players can walk through them, but monsters cannot. They can still see you, so skeletons may shoot and creepers might explode when nearby!
• Additionally, you can jump into them from any height and take no fall damage.

Umbrellas

• 16 stylish looks to choose from! Right click in hand to cycle between unfolded and folded.
• When opened, they make you fall a bit slower and take less fall damage, capped at 4 hearts.
• When held during thunder under open sky, it attracts lightning. After getting hit transforms into a Broken Umbrella, which can no longer break your fall.
• Can be placed in the world both folded and unfolded using Shift + Right-click – on the ground or leaning against a wall.
• Can also be placed folded in an Umbrella Stand.

Raincoats, Rain Boots and Rain Hats

• Raincoats, Rain Boots and Rain Hats come in 16 of Minecraft’s Dye colors!
• Raincoat
  • When worn in the rain, grant you 2 additional max hearts. If it’s thundering, grant 2 more hearts!
  • Right click the Raincoat in inventory to put your hood on or remove it.
• Rain Boots
  • Grant you a Speed I when worn in the rain and Speed II if it’s thundering.
• Rain Hat
  • Currently only decorative!

Decorative-only blocks

• For now, these Blocks have no function other than being cool decorations for storytelling within your world!
• Pitchfork
• Shovel + 16 colors of Plastic Shovels
• Unbundled Hay Bale
