The vanilla crafting recipe for wooden stairs requires six planks to craft four stairs. A stair is only three-fourth of a plank, so why does six planks only give four stairs? What happens to the rest of the blocks? There is a clear inconsistency here. And Craft 6 Stairs Instead Of 4 Mod (1.21.3, 1.20.1) simply fixes that for you. This is a very lightweight mod that adds a tiny change into your game. With this mod installed, the vanilla recipe for crafting stairs will give you six stairs instead of just four. This works for all the vanilla stair recipes.
