Minecraft has an autosave feature that saves your game progress at regular intervals. This is to ensure that even if the game crashes and closes unexpectedly, your recent progress within the game is not lost. Crash Command Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) introduces a new command into the game that will allow you to crash your game at will. Just type /crash into the chat box and your game will crash. The ability to crash the game whenever you want will help you a lot. Imagine you die in survival mode and lose your items. If you manage to respawn any type in the /crash command without much delay, you will be able to crash your game before it autosaves your current death. When you reopen the game after a crash, you will continue at the last autosave, before your death. This will work even on a server.
