The default duration of a Minecraft day is 20 real life minutes. This includes one day and one night. This is at the rate of 20 ticks per seconds. Custom Time Cycle Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) allows you to change the duration of the day-night in Minecraft without affecting the tick rate.
