This is an addon for the Game Stages Mod. Dimension Stages Mod (1.19.2, 1.16.5) allows access to dimensions to be gated behind custom progression systems that are set in place by the modpack creator. If a player does not have access to a stage, they will not be able to enter that dimension. Their pets, and projectiles, mounts and dropped items will also be prevented from entering a restricted dimension.

This mod allows modpacks and servers to restrict access to dimensions based on a player’s progression in the world. This is done by hooking into Game Stages, a framework for developing custom progression systems.

Example Usage:

  • Imagine that you want to restrict access to the nether until players have completed an objective such as crafting a certain item or defeating a boss. This would be done by staging the nether dimension to a stage such as “nether_access”. You can then use a script to detect when players have completed that objective and grant them that stage. This will prevent players from accessing the dimension until they have completed your objective and triggered the “nether_access” stage to be unlocked.
