Does It Tick? Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Boost Your Minecraft Server’s Performance
Does It Tick? Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) is designed to significantly improve server performance by controlling which entities need to tick based on player proximity. The core idea is simple: if an entity, such as a sheep, is far away and doesn’t impact the player’s gameplay, it won’t “tick” or update.
Features:
- Disables entity ticking for entities far from players.
- Supports chunk claiming to maintain entity ticking where necessary.
- Configurable whitelist for essential entities.
- Integration with FTB Chunks and Open Parties and Claims.
