Wearing a banner on the player’s head is something that is not possible in the vanilla game. But Equippable Banners Mod (1.21.3, 1.20.6) is here to make it a reality. As the name suggests, this mod allows players to wear banners on their head. Simply hold the banner and execute the /trigger equip_banner command.
