Ex Nihilo Sequentia Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Create Resources, Mobs Out of Nothing
Ex Nihilo Sequentia Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) is a modern port of Ex Nihilo Creatio for 1.12, which in turn was a fork of Ex Nihilo Adscensio for 1.10, which was a continuation of Ex Nihilo for 1.7.10. Ex Nihilo Sequentia is the next installment of the long-lasting Ex Nihilo mod series. With it, you can create resources and mobs out of nothing. You need a tree to start. Using barrels, sieves, and a few other tools, you can produce all the resources you need. This mod is particularly useful for those skyblock experiences that we all know and love.
Features:
Barrel:
- The barrel has a wide range of uses. You can use it to compost organics into dirt, transform one fluid into another, transform a fluid into a block with an item, and spawn mobs. When in the rain, the barrel will collect water.
- Wood barrels cannot accept hot fluids. Stone barrels can accept hot fluids. Water has a temperature of 300. Anything over 433 will not go into a wood barrel.
- Right click the barrel to get a block out of the barrel. Right click the barrel with a bucket to add or remove a fluid.
Crucible:
- The crucible is used to melt various blocks and items into fluids.
- The Fired Crucible can be used to melt down everything that the Wooden Crucible can, however, not everything that the Fired Crucible melts down can be melted by the Wooden Crucible.
- Right click the barrel to place an item or block into the crucible. Place a heat source under the barrel to begin the melting process. Once a crucible is full, right click with a bucket to remove the fluid.
- An Unfired Crucible MUST be smelted to be used.
- Once an item is in the crucible, it cannot be removed. A crucible will void any fluid in it when it is broken.
Sieve:
- The sieve is how you get most of your resources. Pretty much everything can be obtained by sifting a block in the sieve. You will need to place a mesh in the sieve before you can use it.
- Multi-sieve sifting can be accomplished by placing other sieves nearby on the same Y-level. A sieve that is activated will attempt to use other sieves in a configurable radius.
- To place a block in the sieve, simply right click the sieve with the block that you want to sift. Continue right clicking until the block is gone to obtain your resources.
Crooks:
- Crooks are used to obtain resources from leaves. Silkworms can be obtained by breaking leaves with crooks. The only difference between crooks is their durability.
Dolls:
- Dolls are used to spawn mobs in a barrel. To spawn a mob, craft the doll for the entity you want to spawn and then right click on a barrel with the right fluid in it to spawn
Hammers:
- Hammers are used to break blocks down into other blocks. The only difference between hammers is their durability.
Silkworms:
- Silkworms can be obtained by breaking leaves with a crook or by sifting leaves. Right clicking a slikworm onto leaves will infest it and after some time the leaf block will become completely infested. Breaking an Infested Leaves block (not infesting leaves) will result in string being dropped. Infested leaves will spread to other leaves around it.
- Silkworms can also be cooked into an edible form.
