Extra Delight Mod (1.21.4, 1.19.2) takes Minecraft cooking to the next level with new tools and delicious recipes. Use the Oven for baking, the Dough Shaping Station for crafting pasta, and the Mixing Bowl for special mixes. With over 35 new ingredients and 146 unique meals-from cheesecakes to custards-plus 43 hearty feasts, there’s something for every chef.

Features:

Workstation:

  • Oven – A 3×3 crafting grid that slowly bakes recipes as long as there is a heat source beneath and the appropriate bakeware in the tray slot.
  • Dough Shaping Station – A stone cutter for dough! Shape pasta or cookies from a variety of doughs.
  • Mixing Bowl – Mix up all sorts of tasty treats! Load in the appropriate items (and perhaps fluids) and right-click on it with the appropriate utensil.
  • Mortar – Used to crush ingredients to get at the goodness inside – your first step towards bread made without straw! Will require its trusty partner the Pestle. Can also give fluids like Cooking Oil.
  • Drying Rack – Gotta get dry! Make snacks like jerky or dried fruit, or dry ingredients so they can be ground into powder.
  • Melting Pot – Melt solids into liquids. Requires a heat source underneath.
  • Chiller – Chill liquids into solids. Can create a variety of (mainly chocolatey) treats. Requires some sort of container for the fluids to set in. And having the drip tray emptied occasionally.

Tools:

  • Spoon – You spin me right round, baby. Mix things up in the Mixing Bowl, scoop up tasty treats, or even peel ginger on the FD Cutting Board!
  • Pestle – The grind don’t stop, and neither should you. Crush everything from wheat seeds, to roasted coffee beans, to dried agar agar sheets, or even flowers to get a bit more dye out of them. In the Mortar of course.
  • Bakeware/trays – For use in the oven (and the chiller occasionally too). A baking sheet, a muffin pan, a pie dish and more!
  • Grater – Totally shredded. Grate cheese, potatoes, carrots, and more on the FD Cutting Board
  • Offset spatula – Your kitchen’s fairy godmother! A wave of this magic wand and your kitchen is re-styled. Works on frosted gingerbread and chocolate blocks to change the patterns, as well as giving your Mortars, Mixing Bowls, and bakeware a new look.
  • Funnel – A hopper for fluids! Can drain in to the Mixing Bowl, out of the Mortar, and in and out of a Keg, Jar, or Chiller. Or you can manually tip fluid in the top using a bucket or Jar. It will even pick up a fluid block (if one happens to be sitting on top of it) and spit it out the bottom if there is space.
  • Jar – A means of picking up less than (and up to) a bucket of a fluid. For example, it can be used to scoop fluid out of the Mortar and transfer it to the Mixing Bowl, or just place it down on a shelf.
  • Keg – Stores up to 8 buckets of one fluid. Best friends with the Funnel.
  • Tap – In its raw form. Right-click with a bucket to fill the bucket with water. Drippin’.

Crops:

  • All Extra Delight crops use biome tags, so will be able to be found in all modded biomes as well as Vanilla ones. Bees can pollinate them, and some of them can also be used to breed animals.
  • Cinnamon – Trees with tasty, tasty bark that grow in jungle biomes.
  • Ginger – A zesty root with a pretty red flower found in hot biomes.
  • Mint – The mint must spread! Found in cold biomes. It’s much happier in warm or temperate biomes though.
  • Corn – A big ol’ stalk of grass found in the drier types of plains biomes.
  • Mallow – Great swathes of white flowers found in swampy biomes.
  • Chili – Hot, hot, hot! Found in hot biomes of course.
  • Peanut – Is it a pea? Is it a nut? Well whatever it is, you’ll find its little yellow flowers in jungle biomes.
  • Hazelnut – Nuts for Hazelnuts! Yes, you can make a certain chocolate-y spread out of it… Look for it in forest biomes.
  • Coffee – Is there too much blood in your caffeine system? Then you’ll want to go hunting in jungle biomes for these little bushes with their red and yellow cherries to slake your cravings.
  • Apple – Yes, now you can keep the doctor away without deforesting the neighbourhood! Which is appropriate seeing as it spawns in forest biomes.
  • Garlic – Onion’s little brother joins the family! Find it on temperate mountain slopes.

Ingredients:

  • Need some Vinegar in your life? How about some Breadcrumbs? Maybe some Frosting, or Cookie Dough? Condiments like Mayo or Ketchup? Cornmeal? Butter? Gravy? Whipped Cream?!
  • Suffice to say there’s a lot of things to work with in Extra Delight (over a hundred!), and even more things to make them into!
  • And for those of you who need every fluid to come in a bucket we offer you 31 options, some of which you miiiight not want to step in…

Meals:

  • 115 savory Meals
  • Fried foods, salads, pasta, burgers, breakfast cereals.
  • 92 sweet, sweet Desserts
  • Custards, ice creams, baked goods, popsicles!
  • 64 Candies for after
  • All the chocolate you could ever want, mints, caramel.
  • 23 Drinks to quench the deepest of thirsts
  • Juices, milkshakes, hot chocolate three ways, even eggnog.
  • 22 Cookies for all you monsters out there
  • Shaped holiday cookies galore.
  • 17 Snacks for when you just gotta munch on something.
  • Chips, popcorn, jerky
  • Another 28 more meaty delights, if you have Butchercraft.

Feasts:

  • A mighty 78 (assuming you have Butchercraft) feasts can grace your banquet table. All so nice to look at, and most with guilty traces left behind…
  • Tuck into a hearty lasagna, dish yourself up some chili, slice up one of seven cheesecakes, dip any number of things into a chocolate fondue, or even sink into a whole rainbow of jelly.

Aesthetic:

  • Two new wood sets! Cinnamon wood is a lighter, brighter orange than Acacia, while Fruit wood is a lighter, brighter sibling to Jungle. It’s even got the horizontal bark pattern.
  • All wooden items can be crafted in all Vanilla and Extra Delight wood types.
  • Wooden Stuff
  • Wallpaper – Comes in all 16 colours, and can have a wooden molding which can then be placed at the top or bottom of the block.
  • Spice Racks – Cute little shelves which have 4 inventory slots. They can be crafted in their “filled” variant to display some decorative jars, or “unfilled” to display the items stored.
  • Half Cabinets – Like the FD cabinets but only half as deep! Great for using as overhead cabinets, and can sneakily store just as much as their full-size siblings…
  • Knife Blocks – Visually store up to 4 knives (including Butchercraft ones!)
  • Step Stools – A handy step up. Acts like a slab in that you will automatically step up onto it.
  • Countertop Cabinets – Look just like their regular FD cousins… until you click the cogwheel and give it any block with a solid texture (no leaves) to use as a countertop texture, upon which it will magically sprout a little counter edge as well. Works with Ice, Glass, slabs, the ED Keg, the FD Stove… The possibilities are endless!

Sinks – A cabinet with a sink in it! For all your watery needs. Although it does have reduced storage capacity to make room for the plumbing… But it also has the option to set a countertop texture so it can fit right in with the rest of your benchtop.

  • Dried Corn Fences – Regular Fences not feel rustic enough for you? Try the Dried Corn variant to sprinkle in a little more visual interest.
  • Non-Wooden Stuff
  • Wreaths – Well they’re wood-adjacent? Make a festive wreath out of any leaf type and then display 8… anythings on it.
  • Bows – The Wreaths’ best friends! Come in all 16 wool colours and can be put on Wreaths, worn in your hair, or crafted into a pretty box…
  • Chocolate Boxes – They’re boxes. You put chocolate (or candy) in them. And then close the lid, pick them up, and give them to someone special
  • Candy Bowl – Very similar in use, but only available in one colour and cannot be picked up while keeping the contents. Sure looks pretty on your counter though!
  • Food Display – And if there’s something you want to display without it being jumbled up in a bowl, look no further than the Food Display! Feel like opening a supermarket? You can even add a glass frontage by right-clicking on it with a glass block.
  • Three (or maybe four) sets of chocolate building blocks. They’re not quite full “sets”, but have blocks, stairs, slabs, doors, trapdoors, pillars, fences, and fence gates. Go build that castle.
  • Cheese and Butter blocks! Blocks, slabs, and stairs.
  • Storage blocks – Crates and sacks for all the Extra Delight crops (and a few Vanilla things FD missed, like berries and mushrooms), and then sacks and bundles of some of the raw items like Cinnamon Bark, Corn Husks, and Flour. Stack your store rooms high!
  • Corn Husk Doll – A creepy lil doll made out of corn. Hang it from the ceiling if you really want.
  • Corn Cob Pipe – Bubbles!
  • Hanging foods – Ever wanted to hang your pantry from your ceiling? Well Extra Delight makes it possible! Currently available in onion, mint, ham, corn, garlic, and two types of chili.
  • Gingham block and carpets – Cute lil checkers to get that cozy kitchen feeling going. Available in all 16 colours (yes, even white).
