How to get Fire Coral in Survival Mode
You can add fire coral to your inventory in Survival mode by finding them growing in a Warm Ocean biome and gathering them. So, let’s get started!
1. Find Fire Coral
First, you need to find fire coral in your Minecraft world. Fire coral is usually found growing underwater in a Coral Reef in the Warm Ocean biome.
This is what fire coral looks like:
2. Break the Fire Coral
The game control to break the fire coral depends on the version of Minecraft:
For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the coral plant.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the coral plant.
For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press and hold the RT button on the Xbox controller.
For PS3 and PS4, press and hold the R2 button on the PS controller.
For Wii U, press and hold the ZR button on the gamepad.
For Nintendo Switch, press and hold the ZR button on the controller.
For Windows 10 Edition, left click and hold on the coral plant.
For Education Edition, left click and hold on the coral plant.
The fire coral will break and a smaller fire coral will appear floating in the water. If you wait too long, the fire coral will float to the top of the water.
3. Pick up the Fire Coral
Make sure you pick up the fire coral before it disappears.
Once you pick up the fire coral, it will appear in your hotbar.
Fire coral is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
