Vanilla Minecraft offers you three different player perspectives – first person, third person from behind and third person from the front. This limitation causes a major disadvantage – players will not be able to see anything on their sides without actually turning their character to that side. This can especially be disadvantageous when trying to see the ground while flying using an elytra, as simply looking down causes the player to fly lower as well. Giacomo’s Enhanced Camera Mod (1.20.2, 1.20.1) is here with a solution. This mod adds two new features. Both of them can be toggled using keybinds. By default, the keybinds are not set, and the player will have to set them in the keybind settings. The first feature is a third person view with a larger field of view. Once you toggle to this perspective, you can press and hold the second keybind to freely look around without affecting the player’s facing direction. This means, you will be able to look around in any direction without making the player turn around.

Features:

  • Free camera perspectives in any direction.
  • This will not change the player’s facing direction.
  • Third person perspective with a wider field of view.
