There are many mods that add different overlays into the game. If you have multiple mods that add overlays into the game, chances are that some of them are going to overlap. This is frustrating since this makes the overlays unreadable. Or maybe you just want to move the vanilla overlays, like the hotbar, health bar and experience bar to a different location. Unfortunately, the vanilla game does not allow this. Giacomo’s HUD Overlays Configurator Mod (1.20.2, 1.20.1) is here with a solution. This mod allows you to move, scale and rotate the overlays that you have on the screen. Instructions to use this mod correctly are given in the next section.

Features:

How to use the mod?

  • To begin, you have to switch into the Overlay Configuration Mode. This can be done by pressing the up arrow key on your keyboard.
  • Once you enter configuration mode, press O on your keyboard to open the overlay menu. From here, you can choose the overlay that you want to edit.
  • Select an overlay by clicking on it. You can do ctrl+A to select all the items on the list.
  • Once you select the required overlay, you can use the left mouse and drag to move the overlay. Use the right mouse to change the scale. Use the middle mouse to rotate.
  • You can use ctrl+z and ctrl+shift+z to undo and redo changes respectively.
  • Press the spacebar to reset to the default settings.
