As the name suggests, Giacomo’s Lava Bottle Mod (1.20.2, 1.20.1) introduces lava bottles into the game. This new item is a very innovative weapon that can be used in very creative ways to outsmart your opponents in battle. These bottles can be thrown to produce a temporary source of flowing lava at the point of impact. This means, you can throw this at someone who is chasing you to light them on fire and slow them down simultaneously. If a horde of zombies are following you, simply throw a lava bottle at the ground between you and the zombies. This will create a small puddle of lava that will last a few seconds. By this time, the zombies will have stepped into the lava, lighting them all on fire. To create a lava bottle, right click on a lava filled cauldron with an empty bottle. This will not reduce the amount of lava in the cauldron. Lava bottles can be thrown as a projectile by dispensers to make innovative lava traps. They can also be filled using dispensers by using an empty bottle and aiming at a lava source block or cauldron full of lava. These bottles can also be used as fuel in furnaces, and will smelt the same amount as coal does.
