  • Creative Menu Location is the location of the item in the Creative Inventory menu.

Required Materials to make a Jukebox

In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to craft a jukebox:

8 Oak Planks
8 Spruce Planks
8 Birch Planks
8 Jungle Planks
8 Acacia Planks
8 Dark Oak Planks
8 Mangrove Planks
8 Bamboo Planks
8 Crimson Planks
8 Warped Planks
8 Cherry Planks
1 Diamond

TIP: You can use any type of wood planks! You don’t have to gather them all.

How to craft a Jukebox in Survival Mode

1. Open the Crafting Menu

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:

2. Add Items to make a Jukebox

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make a jukebox, place 8 wood planks and 1 diamond in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When crafting with wood planks, you can use any kind of wood planks, such as oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, bamboo, crimson, warped or cherry planks. In our example, we are using oak planks.

When making a jukebox, it is important that the wood planks and diamond are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 3 wood planks. In the second row, there should be 1 wood planks in the first box, 1 diamond in the second box, and 1 wood planks in the third box. In the third row, there should be 3 wood planks. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for a jukebox.

Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the jukebox will appear in the box to the right.

3. Move the Jukebox to Inventory

Once you have crafted jukeboxs, you need to move the new item to your inventory.

Congratulations, you have made a jukebox in Minecraft!
