Minecraft 1.21.1 is a minor update for the Java Edition released on August 8, 2024. This update, following Minecraft 1.21, addresses critical vulnerabilities, including update suppression, and adds two new languages. It is compatible with 1.21 servers.

Bugs fixed:

  • Block entity replacement-based suppression has been fixed.
  • Additionally, an exploit used by modified clients that caused the server to crash by requesting command completion for a malicious target selector input, resulting in a stack exhaustion crash, has also been fixed.

Changes:

  • Language support has been added for Tzotzil and Belarusian (Latin).

How to install:

  • To install the Official Release, open up the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Launch Options” tab.
  • Official Release can corrupt your world, please backup and/or run them in a different folder from your main worlds.
