Rediscover mobs lost to time! Missing your beloved Copper Golem or Moobloom? Craving the extra challenge and adventure from the Icologer and Rascal? Or perhaps you want moving item frames? With Mob Vote Losers Addon (1.21), you can have all this and more!

Features:

  • Currently, the add-on includes 8 mobs, these are those who previously lost to the Glow Squid, Allay, Sniffer, and Armadillo, it does not include the 3 creatures who lost to the Phantom, as those concepts are far less fleshed out and harder to translate into vanilla for now.

Mob Vote 2020:

The Icologer:

  • The Icologer was the second mob to be eliminated from the 2020 mob vote, losing to the Glow Squid, you can find this dangerous icy Illager atop snowy mountains at night, watch out as he will try and crush you with blocks of ice.

The Moobloom:

  • The Moobloom was the first mob to be eliminated from the 2020 mob vote, losing to the Icologer and Glow Squid, it can be found peacefully in the Flower Forest biome, they are mostly like cows, but can be sheared for their flowers, they also come in 5 different types.

  • Yellow Mooblooms are rather common, and white mooblooms are the rarest

Mob Vote 2021:

The Glare:

  • The Glare was the first mob to be eliminated from the 2021 mob vote, losing to the Copper Golem and Allay, it lives underground in cave systems and hates the dark! It will fly to any dark areas and notify you where it is dark enough for monsters to spawn by becoming quite angry, they will follow you when holding glow berries and if fed one, will produce some glowstone dust too!

The Copper Golem:

  • The Copper Golem was the second mob to be eliminated from the 2021 mob vote, losing to the Allay, and this time you don’t have to find it! You can build it yourself by placing a Carved Pumpkin onto a copper block.
  • Once built it will begin to run around, interacting with pressure plates it sees, as time goes on though it will age unless you wax it, getting weaker and slower Until it cannot move, you can remove this oxidisation with an axe.

Mob Vote 2022:

The Rascal:

  • The Rascal was the second mob to be eliminated from the 2022 mob vote, losing to the Sniffer, You will find it underground like the glare, but rascals specifically live beneath Y=-16 and above y=-48, when you first approach it will turn invisible and sprint away, then remaining still Until you find it, once you do it will go and hide again, find it three times for a powerful reward! it won’t want to play after for a while though.

The Tuff Golem:

  • The Tuff Golem was the first mob to be eliminated from the 2022 mob vote, losing to the Rascal and the Sniffer, You will have to build it using a tuff block, and on top, a carved pumpkin.
  • The Golem will stroll about, and can be given items.. it isn’t the most useful but you can make cool art?

Mob Vote 2023:

The Crab:

  • The crab was the second mob to be eliminated from the 2023 mob vote, losing to the Armadillo, it can be spotted in mangrove swamps and may attack you if you attack it, if you defeat it, you might get a crab claw and if held in the offhand slot, it drastically boosts your strength.

The Penguin:

  • The Penguin was the first mob to be eliminated from the 2023 mob vote, losing to the crab and armadillo, they spawn on stony shores and are a bit slow on land, but love to swim! you can also feed them buckets of cod to get a baby.

Installation Note:

  • The addon requires no experiments to be enabled.
  • This addon will work on any version as of 1.21.20.
