In the vanilla game, horse armor exists for all of the types for which layer armor exists, except for netherite. Netherite horse armor does not exist in the vanilla game for some reason. A player fully equipped with netherite armor and weapons will have to ride a horse equipped with diamond horse armor. This is an inconsistency and More Horse Armor Mod (1.20.1, 1.18.2) fixes it. The mod also adds a Enderite horse armor variant into the game. The materials required to craft this horse armor variant can only be obtained if you have LieOnLion’s Enderite mod installed.
