The ores and minerals available in the vanilla game have remained the same for a very long time. Netherite was added to the game in the Nether update, and that is the only recent ore that has been added to the game. MoreOres+ Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.6) is here to change that. As the name suggests, this mod introduces a collection of new ores, their minerals and gemstones into the game. Unlike the vanilla ores, these ores cannot be used to craft weapons, tools or armor sets. Instead, they can be applied onto the vanilla armor pieces using the new armor trims added by this mod. The minerals added by this mod come is a few different unique colors, and when applied as trims onto armor pieces, will help make your armor look unique and stylish.
