Not Enough Glyphs Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) started as a custom port of TooManyGlyphs and later expanded with elements from Omega and Elemental. Over time, it has developed unique features, serving as a testing ground for glyphs that may not be included in the base Ars system. It introduces new spell mechanics, glyphs, and an alternative spell storage system to enhance gameplay. Focus is placed on expanding spell versatility, providing both practical enhancements and experimental features.

Features:

  • Trail – creates a lingering projectile that repeatedly activates the spell along its path before expiring.
  • Plow – completes the “Spellbook of all trades” set, allowing dirt plowing and other hoe-based interactions.
  • Plane – functions as a non-repeating linger effect, enabling area-of-effect spells, circular formations, cylinders, and hollow squares.
  • SpellBinder – a storage alternative to the spellbook, holding up to 25 spells in caster tome or spell parchment form, ideal for uneditable spells or sharing without transferring an entire book.
  • Thread – accepts threads similar to Ars armor, with dedicated book threads providing various spell enhancements:
    • Focus Threads – Enhances glyph combos on spells from the binder for added effects.
    • Randomize Thread – Assigns random buffs or debuffs to each glyph in a spell.
    • Slow Power, Cheap Damage Threads – Tradeoff mechanics adjusting spell power, efficiency, and speed.
