Noxesium Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) is a client-side mod developed by Noxcrew that enhances the capabilities of Minecraft servers, especially those focused on multiplayer games and events like MCC Island. The mod not only improves game performance on such servers but also provides server administrators with a wide range of tools for gameplay customization. With Noxesium, you can create interactive elements on the server, such as boosters and launchpads, use player heads in chat, play custom sounds with various effects, modify visual effects of mobs and items, and adjust weapon behavior. The mod comes with a Wiki that explains its features, making it easy to understand how to work with it. This is a very specific mod that may not be useful to everyone—it might mainly interest server owners. However, regular players might install it to improve performance by optimizing the rendering of custom user interfaces. With this mod, custom interfaces will render at a frame rate between 20 and 60 FPS, depending on how often the interface changes. If it rarely changes, the update speed will be 20 FPS. Naturally, this patch will be useful on low-end PCs or servers with a large number of interfaces.

Warning: Render optimization is still in development, and the author has placed this feature in the experimental settings. By default, this feature is disabled and can be enabled in the Noxesium configuration.

Features:

  • Resolves several vanilla Minecraft bugs, such as issues with transparent objects and toggle sprint resetting upon death.
  • Allows servers to create elements like speed boosters and jump pads.
  • Enables custom sounds with adjustable properties, such as volume changes and playback offsets.
  • Adds the ability to display player heads in chat messages.
  • Improves rendering of maps held in the off-hand and provides extra debug overlays for developers.
  • Includes features for tweaking weapon behavior, locking camera movement, and more.
