Permissions Plugin (1.20.6, 1.20.1) is a versatile and user-friendly permissions management system designed for Minecraft server administrators. It allows for detailed control over what commands and actions players can perform on a server, making it easier to manage roles, ranks, and permissions in a structured and organized manner. The Permissions plugin is an excellent choice for server admins seeking a straightforward and efficient way to manage player permissions. Its ease of use, combined with powerful features like group inheritance and integration with other plugins, makes it a reliable tool for both small and large servers. While it may not offer the most advanced features, its simplicity and performance make it a solid option for those who need a dependable permissions management system without unnecessary complexity.

Features:

  • Simple Setup: The plugin is designed with simplicity in mind, making it easy for server admins to set up and configure without requiring extensive technical knowledge. It offers straightforward commands and intuitive configuration files.
  • Group and User Management: Permissions enables the creation of groups with specific permissions, allowing admins to easily assign players to these groups based on their roles. Individual permissions can also be assigned directly to players, providing flexibility in managing user privileges.
  • Inheritance: The plugin supports permission inheritance, where groups can inherit permissions from other groups. This feature helps in organizing the permission structure, reducing redundancy, and simplifying the management process.
  • Integration with Other Plugins: Permissions integrates seamlessly with other popular plugins, ensuring that permissions are correctly applied across different functionalities and game modes on the server.
  • Customizable Messages: The plugin allows server admins to customize messages that appear when players attempt to execute commands they don’t have permission for. This helps in maintaining a consistent and branded server experience.
