Portal Tags Mod (1.16.5) – Naming The Nether Portals
The Portal Tags Mod (1.16.5) adds a new facet to the game by giving players the opportunity to provide name tags to portals they come across in their explorations. When there are two portals with the same name, using either one of them will lead you to be teleported to the other portal with the same name. This happens whenever there are two portals with the same name. Portal teleportation will only work in one direction, and that is from the overworld to the nether and back again. With the assistance of this uncomplicated vanilla+ technology, players will have the power to build enormous teleportation hubs. If you gave more than two portals the same name, then you would be teleported to a random location, or depending on the configuration (the number of portals in each dimension), you would be sent to the portal that was assigned as your target. If you only gave one portal the same name, then you would be teleported to the portal that was designated as your target. A fundamental concept that, when put into action, enables a great number of paths for the player to investigate and a variety of play possibilities to be made available to them.
