Required Materials to make Powered Rails
In Minecraft, these are the materials you can use to craft a powered rail:
6 Gold Ingots 1 Stick 1 Redstone Dust
How to craft Powered Rails in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make Powered Rails
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make powered rails, place 6 gold ingots, 1 stick, and 1 redstone dust in the 3×3 crafting grid.
When making powered rails, it is important that the gold ingots, the stick, and the redstone dust are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In this first row, there should be 1 gold ingot in the first box and 1 gold ingot in the third box (the second box should be left empty). In the second row, there should be 1 gold ingot in the first box, 1 stick in the second box, and 1 gold ingot in the third box. In the third row, there should be 1 gold ingot in the first box, 1 redstone dust in the second box, and 1 gold ingot in the third box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for powered rails.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, six powered rails will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Powered Rails to Inventory
Once you have crafted rails, you need to move the new item to your inventory.
Congratulations, you have made powered rails in Minecraft!
