The vanilla game allows you to use the block variants of various different minerals like iron, gold, diamond and netherite to build beacon bases. You can then use their ingots as payment in the beacon. Placing a beacon on a three layered base will give the player powerful player effects. Redstone Beacon Base Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1), as the name suggests, allows the player to use redstone blocks to build beacon bases. Furthermore, beacons will now accept redstone dust as payment.
