Respawning Animals Mod (1.21.5, 1.20.1) changes the spawning mechanics for all animals to be similar to Bedrock Edition: Animals will now vanish and appear again whereever you go, they no longer stay in the world forever from being spawned in during world generation. And just like Bedrock Edition; animals that have e.g. been bred or tamed will of course stay with you!

Features:

  • Animals no longer remain in the world indefinitely after spawning. Instead, they can despawn and respawn naturally, just like hostile mobs.
  • Animals that are tamed, bred, named with a name tag, or ridden by players will not despawn, ensuring they stay with you.
  • The mod enables interesting mechanics like passive mob farms, as animals can respawn in specific areas.
  • Players can customize the behavior of the mod, including blacklisting certain animals from despawning or respawning.
