RuLauncher (1.21.4, 1.20.1) is a free launcher for Minecraft that allows you to download and run all game versions without needing an account. This launcher includes unique features similar to other popular launchers like TLauncher and Legacy Launcher. The drawback of it is that it only supports Russian, so you might need translation tools if you want to use this launcher.

Features:

  • Launcher Appearance: The primary functional element is the launcher’s bottom menu, where you can access the Profiles system. For experienced players, this feature allows you to override the game folder, customize the launcher’s behavior when launching the game, set unique arguments, and specify the Java executable.
  • Available Versions: All versions are categorized into Releases, Snapshots, Betas, Alphas, and Others. Installed versions are marked with a white checkmark. In any tab, you can display only the installed versions. In the “Others” section, you’ll find third-party versions such as Minecraft Forge, Optifine HD, Fabric API, NeoForge Installer, Quilt Loader, and others.
  • Automatic Installation of Minecraft Forge, Optifine, NeoForge and Fabric: You can choose the desired game version and install the necessary versions of Forge, Fabric, NeoForge and Optifine. There’s also an option to install combined versions, although compatibility limitations apply to certain combinations. The launcher now automatically checks for the presence of Java, downloads a portable Java version if needed, and seamlessly switches between Java 8 (for older versions) and Java 16 (for versions 1.17+).
  • Customizing the Appearance: You can configure a unique appearance for the launcher, including color schemes and background images.
  • Client System: Create additional clients that can be located in separate folders. With this system, you can have multiple installed builds or cheat clients, each working independently without interfering with one another. Please note that currently, adding client locations in arbitrary folders is only available through the configuration file.
  • Unique Skin System: RuLauncher allows you to set your own skin, visible to all users. It even supports cloaks and HD skins. Installation is straightforward and free.
