In Minecraft, the skeleton is a type of mob that spawns in most Overworld biomes in light levels of 7 or less. Skeletons will spawn in the dark, usually at night. Once a skeleton has spawned in the dark, it can survive in the daylight.

This Minecraft seed spawns you in the middle of a Desert biome. Almost directly below you is a Dungeon at coordinates (-110,6,41) that has a skeleton spawner and 2 chests to loot.

If you travel to the West, you will find a Mesa biome with lots of different colors of terracotta to mine.

This Minecraft seed spawns you in the middle of a Jungle Hills biome next to a larger Jungle biome.

There is a series of tunnels directly below you filled with creepers, skeletons and spiders. There is also an Abandoned Mineshaft not too far away at coordinates (-16,~,-96).

This Minecraft seed spawns you in a Plains biome with a group of horses right next to you off to the South. Directly below you is an Abandoned Mineshaft with a skeleton and a bat in the tunnel.

If you travel to the West, you will see a Windswept Hills biome with mountains and a Stony Shore on the West side.
