Smoke Suppression Mod (1.21.4, 1.20.1) gives you the power to control whether or not the smoke from the campfire is present in the game. You now have the ability to modify the amount of smoke that comes from the campfire thanks to this mod. A campfire, when used as a decorative feature, will look great, and in certain instances, it will provide more value than the item itself. However, it would be to your advantage if you were able to “control” it. Sometimes campfires are incredibly perfect for decoration in certain settings; nevertheless, you are not permitted to use them because if you put them there, the smoke would spread everywhere, which is undesirable. Despite the fact that campfires are sometimes extremely ideal for decoration in certain conditions, you cannot use them.

Features:

  • Works on the client side and in single-player mode.
  • Prevents campfires from creating any smoke particles when specific blocks are underneath them. This applies to both standard and soul campfires.
  • Supports configuration through Cloth Config and Mod Menu, but neither is required. Options can be configured through Mod Menu or by editing the config/smoke_suppression.json file.
  • Allows you to specify a list of blocks that will suppress the smoke of any campfire placed above them. The default list includes blocks like minecraft:hopper, minecraft:rail, minecraft:activator_rail, minecraft:powered_rail, and minecraft:detector_rail.
  • An option to invert the list behavior, making blocks on the list enable smoke while all other blocks suppress smoke.
  • An option to always suppress smoke particles regardless of which block is beneath the campfire.
