Soft Voxels Shaders (1.21.3, 1.20.1) – Best Ray Tracing

Soft Voxels Shaders (1.21.3, 1.20.1) is a rather unique Minecraft shader that uses voxels and path-/ray-tracing, focusing on soft and aesthetic lighting, as well as competitive performance. To achieve these goals, it completely abandons the traditional shadowmap for dynamic shadows and relies on a solution that is a mix of light-propagation-volume (LPV) and path-tracing. This produces fairly fast and efficient lighting, perfectly matching the overall visual goal of a softly lit world. It is accompanied by a unique skybox, producing a more covered and cloudy look, distinguishing it from other shaders that aim for a more realistic appearance.
