How to use:

Each of your different hotbar slots represents a move. To activate (do) the move, jump while in the air with your selected slot.  A name tab on the side of your hotbar will tell you what that slot does. For each slot, you can also hold sneak to use its charged activation, which is different from its normal one. By jumping while next to a wall you can wall jump. You get 3 of these for every wall, but reset this by jumping back and forth. By holding sneak on your 8th slot, you can open a customization menu to edit your suit and abilities. You can change everything: it even supports custom colors for the suit: base layer, secondary layer, pattern, and your web color when swinging around! By holding sneak on your 9th slot, you can toggle the suit!

The combat in this addon is very dynamic. There are over 25 unique special combos and tons more just waiting to be discovered.

When you’re swinging around, aim (look) in the direction you want to swing but also in the opposite direction of the wall you’re swinging along. This will steer you away from hitting the wall, making swinging much easier.  There’s a learning curve, but it’s so much fun once you get it! Trust me, I spent hours fighting with friends to test out the addon, and it’s entertaining!

Current Moves:

1. Swing – Hook onto a block to swing (Hotbar Slot #1)

  • If the swing normally swings you into the ground, it shortens the swing and launches you with great force.
  • If the swing normally swings you into a wall, it steers away for you automatically.
  • if you swing into an entity, it deals damage and knocks it back.
  • Charged Attack: No charged attack for this move.

2. Grapple – Grapple onto an entity or block and pull yourself towards it (Hotbar Slot #2)

  • if the entity is falling, you pull up to it and stall in the air for a combo.
  • if the entity is not falling, you pull yourself toward it deal damage, and spawn webs, getting a bit of kickback to avoid the webs.
  • if you’re in the air and grapple with an entity, it pulls it toward you and stalls in the air for a combo.
  • if you’re in the air and grapple directly down, you slam into the ground and spawn webs, shooting entities up into the air.
  • if you grapple down into an area you shot webs into, you create a much larger shockwave that spawns a circle of webs.
  • Charged Attack: If you hold the crouch button on this slot, your web fluid bar will start to decrease. When it hits zero, stop sneaking to unleash a massive shockwave after it pulls nearby entities toward you. It pulls your opponents in and then shoots them out with a massive impact!

3. Web Shot – Shoot a web that travels in a straight line and explodes into webs on impact (Hotbar Slot #3)

  • if you shoot a web at the ground, it launches you up and spawns webs around the impact location.
  • if you shoot a web at an entity, it deals damage and spawns webs around the impact location.
  • if you shoot a web at the ground and then shoot another web, the second web will create a large shockwave with more webs.
  • Charged Attack: If you hold the crouch button on this slot, your web fluid bar will start to decrease. When it hits zero, stop sneaking to unleash 8 individual web shots off in different directions, effectively damaging and stunning all nearby opponents in a wide radius!

Current Passives:

1. Wall Climb – Climb up walls and jump off of them

  • if you jump while on a wall, you’ll get sent in the direction you’re facing.
  • if you jump while on a wall and look up, you’ll get sent up.
  • you can jump back and forth between two walls to climb up them quickly like in most parkour games.
  • if you jump while on a wall and to either side but still along the wall, you’ll get sent upwards in that direction.
  • if you jump while on a wall and to either side but away from the wall, you’ll get sent in that direction lunging off the wall.
  • these jumps can be chained together to climb up walls quickly or wall run, but you can only use 3 wall jumps on one wall before you have to touch the ground or jump to another wall.

Utilizing the customized UI, you can create and customize your very own Spiderman spidey suit in just a few minutes! It supports 16 basic colors for each of the three layers, 4 patterns (more to come soon), 4 eye textures, and even allows for custom RGB color choices. Change everything about your suit, including the color of your web or how the web shooter works!
