Repeatedly placing and breaking workstations is a widely used villager trading trick. When a workstation is placed, a nearby idle villager will walk upto it and accept a profession based on the workstation. The villager can then be right-click to see the trades he provides. If the trades are not useful, the workstation can be broken to make the villager lose his profession, and then be placed back to make him pick the profession again. This time, right-clicking the villager will give you new trades. This process can be repeated indefinitely until you have your ideal trade deal. If this trick feels a bit too overpowered or unfair, Tax’ Mad Villager Mod (1.20.1) is for you. This mod adds a feature where breaking the workstation can cause the nearby villagers to get mad and increase their trade prices, making the trades more expensive than usual. This is a punishment for anyone who tries to make a villager lose his profession.

Features:

  • No more placing-breaking of workstations to change trades.
  • Players will be punished for breaking workstations.
  • Punishment is an increase in trade prices.
