The Copper Rail Mod (1.21.4, 1.20.1) – Directional Rails Crafted Using Copper
All of the vanilla rail variants are bi-derectional. This means, these rails will allow minecarts to roll over in any direction depending upon the initial velocity given to the minecart. Currently, there are no rails in the game that are monodirectional. But not anymore! The Copper Rail Mod (1.21.4, 1.20.1) introduces monodirectional rails into the game. They are copper rails and they can be crafted using the recipe given below. Depending on the orientation they are placed in, this rail track will point in a single direction. The direction that the rail is pointing to can be determined by observing the rail patterns. A detailed description and instructions as noted by the developer are given below.
Features:
- Adds the copper rail, which pushes minecarts only in 1 direction!
- It does not need a block nearby to start pushing, like vanilla powered rails.
- Copper rails have to be powered to work. They would act as unpowered golden rails otherwise.
- Just like activator rails don’t power golden rails, copper rails also don’t share redstone power with other rail types.
- Pushing direction is determined by the position of the player who placed the rail.
- As a bonus, these rails also generate in mineshaft loot chests, just like all vanilla rails.
