Thermal Expansion Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) adds blocks for automating various tasks, processing items and fluids, generating Redstone Flux, and for storing items, fluids and energy. It also adds orbs that can be thrown to release fluids, or to capture or release mobs. It’s a pretty all around usefull mod for processing. It can create alloys, some by default, custom recipes if a pack dev adds them. The thermal series is split up into several parts and has some mods that are closely connected: Simply jetpacks, redstone arsenal, thermal innovations. Those mods give you nice tools to play with and are crafted with the thermal expansion machines. In the wider modded universe it fullfills lots ob basic processing tasks, gives you a way to generate and store power and its item, power and fluid pipes can be the workhorse of many automation setups.
