Tumbleweed Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – The Mythical Rolling Plants from Western Movies

Tumbleweed Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) is a really simple mod that adds just one plant to the game, which can only be found in a single biome – the desert. But don’t expect to find it standing still, as this plant or groups of plants, known as tumbleweeds, also referred to as desert clouds or wheels, roll across the ground. If you visit a desert with this mod installed, you’ll find tumbleweeds doing what they do best: rolling around. If you manage to catch one and right-click on it, an inventory will open where you can find random items from the game, ranging from dirt blocks to diamonds, as a couple of examples. The mod suggests that the tumbleweeds are actually the typical dead bushes found in the desert, so you can create a plantation of dead bushes to generate tumbleweeds, as shown in the image below, and thus obtain the random items found inside them.

Tumbleweeds spawn around dead bushes in hot, dry biomes. They drop random goodies upon harvesting. Item drops are customizable through config file.
