This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft a turtle egg with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, a turtle egg is an item that you can not make with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game.

How to get a Turtle Egg in Survival Mode
You can add a turtle egg to your inventory in Survival mode by breeding turtles. Let’s explore how to do this.
1. Find Two Turtles
Once you have the required materials, you will need to find two turtles to breed.
Turtles can usually be found in the Beach biome.
Your turtles will need to be close together when breeding, so we have built a sand wall to keep our two turtles from running away.
2. Use the Seagrass
Next, with the seagrass selected in your hot bar, you will need to feed the seagrass to each of the turtles, one at a time.
The game control to use/feed the seagrass to the turtles depends on the version of Minecraft:
For Java Edition (PC/Mac), right click on the turtles one at a time.
For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap on the turtles one at a time.
For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press the LT button on the Xbox controller.
For PS3 and PS4, press the L2 button on the PS controller.
For Wii U, press the ZL button on the gamepad.
For Nintendo Switch, press the ZL button on the controller.
For Windows 10 Edition, right click on the turtles one at a time.
For Education Edition, right click on the turtles one at a time.
As you feed the seagrass to the turtles, you will see red hearts appear over their heads. Each of these turtles is entering love mode.
Once you have fed both turtles, they will turn to each other and red hearts will continue to appear over their heads.
After a moment, the red hearts will disappear and one of the turtles will start to dig in the sand.
Once the turtle is done digging, it will lay different sizes of turtle eggs on the ground. The turtle will lay up to 4 eggs.
You will now have two adult turtles and a nest of turtle eggs. These eggs will hatch into baby turtles.
TIP: You will have to wait 5 minutes before your turtles can breed again.
