VDX: Legacy Bottom Chat UI Pack (1.21) is a standalone version separate from the main VDX (Legacy Desktop UI). It modifies only the chat element in the HUD and its own screen. It’s compatible with most other resource packs that have a modified inventory UI. Importantly, you don’t need VDX: Legacy Desktop UI for the bottom chat to take effect—it affects only the chat element.
