This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft warped planks with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, warped planks is a new item that was introduced in the Nether Update. Warped planks and crimson planks are basically the Nether’s version of wood planks. What makes warped planks so unique (compared to Overworld planks such as oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak) is that warped planks and items made out of warped planks can not be destroyed by fire. However, this also means that you can not use warped planks as fuel in a furnace.
When you make warped planks, the crafting process will create 4 warped planks at a time.
Let’s explore how to make warped planks.

How to craft Warped Planks in Survival Mode
1. Open the Crafting Menu
First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:
2. Add Items to make Warped Planks
In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make warped planks, you will need to place specific items in the grid. It is important that the items are placed in the exact pattern as our example images. Changing the pattern of boxes that are filled will change the item that is crafted.
There are 2 patterns you can use as a crafting recipe for warped planks:
Pattern 1
In the first row, there should be 1 warped stem in the first box.
Pattern 2
In the first row, there should be 1 stripped warped stem in the first box.
Now that you have filled the crafting area with the pattern, the warped planks will appear in the box to the right.
3. Move the Warped Planks to Inventory
Once you have crafted warped planks, you need to move the new item to your inventory.
