WebShooter Mod (1.12.2, 1.7.10) changes the attack mechanics of spiders in Minecraft. Now, with each attack, there is a chance that a spider will place a web right under your feet. Why is this useful? Moving through webs is extremely slow, making it impossible to escape. The mod includes a configuration file (as always, located in AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config, file: webshooter.cfg) where you can adjust the likelihood of spiders using webs during an attack, from 0 (never) to 1 (every time). By default, the mod is set to 0.15, meaning approximately every 4th attack will involve a web.

Features:

  • Spiders now have a chance to place webs under your feet during an attack, slowing you down and making escape difficult.
  • Players can adjust the probability of web placement through the config file (webshooter.cfg). The default value is 0.15 (about every 4th spider attack involves a web), but it can be set anywhere between 0 (never) and 1 (every time).
  • The mod introduces an extra layer of difficulty by leveraging the slowing effects of webs, making battles with spiders more strategic and intense.
