Have you ever wondered why ore textures show so many minerals, but we don’t get all of them when we mine? Maybe you just want more drops from Ore? This addon was made to answer your question. X-Tra Ores Drop Addon (1.20) adds new drops from the respective ores, like Gold Nugget, Diamond Shard, or Redstone Lump.

Features:

  • Raw ore block can be smelted to it’s cooked variant.
  • Coal has a 5% chance to drop Diamond Shard.
  • Netherrack and other Nether Ore have a 5% chance to drop Metal Scraps.
  • Subpacks! Now you can choose between 4 nuggets to 1 ore, or 9 nuggets to 1 ore! (A vanilla recipe that use gold nugget and iron ingot has been reduced to 4 Nugget Subpack)

This addon adds new drops from the respective ore, which are:

Raw Iron Nugget

  • Guarantee drop at least 1 from Iron Ore, depend on the subpacks you either need 4 or 9 to get a Raw Iron.

Raw Gold Nugget

  • Guarantee drop at least 1 from Gold Ore, depend on the subpacks you either need 4 or 9 to get a Raw Gold. Can be smelted into gold nuggets.

Raw Copper Nugget

  • Guarantee Drop at least 1 from Copper Ore, depend on the subpacks you either need 4 or 9 nuggets to get raw copper. Can be smelted to a copper nugget.

Diamond Shard

  • Sometimes drop from Diamond Ore, depend on the subpacks you need either 4 or 9 to get a Diamond.

Coal Lump

  • It’ll drop from Coal and it will drop either 1 or 2 pieces! You can use it to smelt 2 items or craft 4 of them to make Coal.

Lapis Lump

  • It’ll drop from Lapis Lazuli which has a 60% chance of dropping. Putting it in the crafting table to get 1 Lapis Lazuli. Using sandpaper you’ll sometimes get a gold nugget.

Redstone Lump

  • It’ll drop from Redstone which has a 50% chance to drop. Put it on the crafting table to get a piece of Redstone Dust.

Emerald Shard

  • Have a chance to drop from Emerald Ore, depend on the subpacks you need 4 or 9 of them to get an Emerald.

Quartz Piece

  • It has a guaranteed chance to drop at least 1 piece. Crafty 3 of them to get Nether Quartz.

Metal Scraps

  • It has a guaranteed chance to drop at least 1 scrap. Combine 8 of it and 1 obsidian to get Ancient Debris.

Other Item:

  • Sandpaper: Put it in the offhand slot and right-click Redstone or Lapis Lump to get double of the resources. You can craft it using 1 sand/gravel and 3 paper. You’ll get 64 of them!

Installation Note:

  • Don’t forget to turn on the experimental features (Holiday Creators Features), and make sure to use English (US).
